Ondine Yoga
Ondine is the founder of ~Ondine Yoga~, located in Montreal West. Celebrating 20 years, teaching weekly classes, privates, and continuous Yoga workshops.
Ondine is a certified Yoga teacher with more than 500 hours of training and almost 30 years of practice. Ondine teaches Alignment based Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama (breath work) and Meditation.
She is also an artist and art teacher (BFA, York University) who, grateful for the inner peace that art and Yoga have given her, and being one with the process of creating and practicing, is thrilled to share the beauty of truly being in the moment.
Ondine’s classes focus on breathing, opening up the body, creating space, flexibility, body awareness, strength and positivity. As a teacher she weaves all her Yoga experiences together, with thoughtful sequencing, alignment cues, Yoga philosophy and communicating the essence of the pose so her students can become truly alive in their practice. She aims to have you leaving calm, refreshed and centred.
Ondine is currently studying Pranayama (breath work) with Richard Rosen.
Ondine received her first 200 hour Hatha teachers training certification from Ashtanga Yoga Montreal 20 years ago.
Since then she also studied;
~Hatha yoga with Rodney Yee, Janet Stone, Barrie Risman, Richard Rosen and Cathy Cozens.
~Vinyasa Flow with Colleen Saidman Yee, Sean Corn, Elana Brower, and Tara Styles.
~Iyengar with Patrica Walden, Noah Maze, Kevin Gardner, Carole Baillangeon, and Carrie Owerko.
~Ashtanga with Richard Freeman and Eddy Stern.
~Pranayama with Jason Crandell, Richard Rosen, Janet Stone and Eddy Stern.
~Yin with Melanie Richards and Albert Bejshak Bissada.
~Yoga Nidra with Albert Bejshak Bissada. ~Meditation with Sharon Salzberg, Elena Brower, and Tara Brach.
~Anatomy with Leslie Kaufman and Eddy Stern.
